New job
Wow. Moving up in the world.. boss asked me yesterday what I thought about going to work another project. Not far away… garage with guards that patrol and require a parking pass, so the Harley would be under guard instead of parked on the side of the road… in a glass building with an excellent view instead of a building with no windows… very little travel instead of week-long trips almost once a month… chance of a raise… yeah, I guess I’ll take that on. Sounds like it’ll be real tough to take. More Linux work than I currently do, as well. Trusted Solaris is ok, but Linux is my first love.
Going to really miss the current team I’m working with, but on the other hand, I’ll be working for a guy I worked with in the Air Force, and as a matter of fact I got him hired on with our company… so I think this will work out just fine.
